About Acostar Hotel
Ideally situated in one of Amsterdam's most central locations, the capital's newest luxury hotel, the Acostar, bids you a warm welcome. The hotel owes its name, Acostar, to the Spanish phrase 'send you to sleep'. Which, given the elegance and style of our rooms, we felt couldn't be more perfect!
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the hotel. CCTV is fitted in all communal areas for your security. To preserve the historic, authentic character of the building, the hotel does not have an elevator. But guests who may be less mobile are assured of easy, comfortable access to both our ground floor and first floor rooms.

The Acostar Hotel is an elegant hotel with 30 rooms distributed over five floors. Each floor has been designed with a different, unique ambience; guests are spoilt for choice. All rooms have luxury Auping beds, a telephone, WiFI internet connection and a plasma TV. The bathrooms are finished to the highest standards, all with the latest design bathroom fittings and tiling in tune with the style of the rooms.
Acostar Hotel Location
The Acostar Hotel is situated in the heart of Amsterdam's cultural centre and nightlife. Located in an elegantly restored historic building on the Kerkstraat 45–49, the Acostar is an ideal base for exploring this charming capital. Amsterdam's famous ring of canals, the Spiegel Quarter with its antique shops and cafes and the fashionable stores on the Leidsestraat are all just around the corner.
It's just a 300 metre stroll from the hotel to the Leidse Square or Leidseplein, where you can enjoy drinks in the summer on the famous terraces of the many bars and restaurants there. Culture lovers will enjoy visiting Amsterdam's city theatre, the Stadsschouwburg, or soaking up the atmosphere of the old foyer that has now been converted into the stylish cafe–restaurant Stanislavski.
