Hidden on the estate 'Vegilinbossen' in between the Frysian woods and the lake territory of Friesland lies the former studfarm 'De Oorsprong'. This characteristic building has kept the atmosphere of earlier days when the breed of the famous Frysian horse was their main objective. Since a couple of years the farm has been rebuild into a hotel–restaurant–party & meeting centre. The hotel has been equipped with all the modern comfort without harming the historical elements of the building.
